ABOUT

Daniela DiPasquale is an emerging lyric soprano with a versatile music style.  Her repertoire includes Mozart, Bellini, Verdi and Puccini as well as contemporary opera and oratorio.  Ms. DiPasquale brings warmth and depth to the characters she portrays, and she offers a captivating, compelling stage presence.

She has performed in operas and concerts in Europe and the United States with roles including Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Violetta (La Traviata), Gilda (Rigoletto) and Nannetta (Falstaff).  She debuted the role of Zina in the European Premiere of Nico Muhly’s Dark Sisters, a contemporary thought-provoking opera.

Recently this past summer, she competed in the Spazio Musica international music competition in Orvieto, Italy where she was a semi-finalist.

As the featured singer, Ms. DiPasquale’s riveting concert performances include Celebra Le Arti with Teatro della Compagnia and Bridges-An American Cantata with the Da Camerata Fiorentina, which both debuted in Florence, Italy.  She has appeared in celebrated music festivals such as The Trentino Music Festival,  Role study Program with the Martina Arroyo Foundation, and Narnia Music Festival.

Ms. DiPasquale earned her Biennio degree in opera from the prestigious Luigi Cherubini Conservatorio. She received her Bachelor degree in music at Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey (USA) and studied at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York (USA), one of the top-ranked conservatories in the world.

Ms. DiPasquale is a citizen of both the United States and Italy and currently resides in Florence, Italy.
